The Ministry of Education allows students to create courses in their areas of passion. The student, with the help of a teacher, identify what is to be learned, how it is to learned, how the learning will be demonstrated, and the form of the evaluation. These courses must connect in some way to a Ministry authorized course, by at least 1 learning outcome.

Students may take up to 8 different IDS courses in any grade level.
